Advance Placement Tests have become even more significant after the College Board stopped offering Subject SAT Exams altogether, encouraging students to take AP’s instead. Outside the U.S. the exams take place only in May of each year. More importantly, the preparation is left to the student – in the U.S. AP’s are part of the school curriculum, albeit optional subjects.
